Apex Stellenbosch opened its doors in January 2024, with the first group of Grade 8’s. Every year the school grows with at least one grade and therefore by 2028, we will have our first cohort of Grade 12’s.

The Language of Instruction is English and a Blended Learning model is followed.

Please note that the school fees for Apex Stellenbosch will be R7 440 per scholar for the 2025 school year. The R620 placement fee will be deducted from the total due for the year.

Our School Principal

A Stellenbosch University alumni and true believer in lifelong learning, Robyn has been teaching and managing in the education space for the past 8 years. She can be described as a visionary and dedicated educator who is committed to the pursuit of high-quality education, irrespective of a student’s circumstances. With an unwavering commitment to fostering equal opportunities and nurturing young minds, she has made significant contributions to the field of education as an instructional leader at Apex High School, in Eersteriver.

Ms van de Rhede’s educational philosophy can be summed up in one word: excellence. She firmly believes that every child deserves access to the highest quality education. Her commitment to this principle has led her to implement various innovative programs at Apex High School.

Her hard work and success were acknowledged in 2022, when she walked away as the winner of the Provincial Teacher Award for Excellence in Secondary Teaching.
Embarking on the journey as the founding principal of Apex Stellenbosch provides Ms van de Rhede with the platform to continue to serve and build the dream of excellent education to the South African child.
