Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage Intermediate Phase staff
- Drive curriculum planning, delivery, assessment, and intervention
- Monitor learner performance and support data-informed teaching
- Promote high behavioural and academic standards
- Foster a strong, collaborative team culture
- Support school-wide initiatives and strategic priorities
- Promote innovation and tech-integrated teaching that challenges and pushes beyond traditional models
- Develop systems for discipline, parent engagement, and learner growth
Requirements
- REQV14 qualification (minimum)
- SACE registered
- Police clearance (to be completed if shortlisted)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- At least 5 years’ Intermediate Phase teaching experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role (e.g. phase/grade head) advantageous
- Strong CAPS curriculum knowledge
- Team leadership or mentorship experience preferred
